1.Introduction:
Perforated alumina ball named ceramic filter ball has 20 or 30% structural microporouses more than the inert alumina ball.
2.Advantages:
Besides the function of supporting and covering catalyst,dispersing vapor and liquid it is able to absorb filter impurities which is remained in oil.The remains in the raw materials cann¡¯t be removed after the raw material filter until the perforated alumina ball is packed at the top of the reactor.The structured microporouses on the ball can absorb the grains and iron ions whose dimater is even less than 25um.
3.Application:
The choice for perforated alumina ball is dependent on the types of remains in the raw materials.If the perforated alumina ball is covered by molybdenum,nickle and cobalt it can protect the catalyst from being coked and poisoned by carbon.
